Bio
Layton Williams is a celebrated English actor, singer, and dancer, widely known for his charismatic performances and trailblazing presence on stage and screen. He first rose to prominence playing the title role in Billy Elliot the Musical in London’s West End, becoming one of the youngest actors to take on the demanding part. Since then, Layton has built an exciting and diverse career, starring as Angel in Rent, Seaweed in Hairspray, and most notably as Jamie New in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in the West End and on tour — a role that earned him widespread acclaim.
On screen, Layton is known for his appearances in Beautiful People, Bad Education, and I Hate Suzie Too, where his natural screen presence and comedic timing shine. Alongside his performance work, Layton is a vocal advocate for diversity and LGBTQ+ visibility in the arts, and actively supports young creatives through workshops and mentoring.
