Bio

Born in October in Westminster, London, Lucy St. Louis began vocal training at the age of seven and speaks openly about the challenges she has overcome, including learning with dyslexia and navigating the industry.

In 2021, Lucy portrayed Christine Daaé in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera, earning a Black British Theatre Award for her performance. In March 2023, she took on the role of Glinda in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre — marking the first time both leading roles were played by actors of colour in the West End.

Lucy’s Teaching Style

Having experienced learning with dyslexia herself, Lucy is known for her naturally patient and calm approach when teaching young performers. Her lessons are easy to digest, and the way she communicates makes everything feel effortlessly inspiring — it’s a dream to learn from her.
