JoAnn M. Hunter is a distinguished choreographer and director whose career spans Broadway, the West End, and international musical theatre. Initially a performer, she made her Broadway debut in 1989 and has subsequently translated that on-stage experience into creative leadership behind the scenes.

Her work is known for combining storytelling, rhythm, and character through movement, helping performers not only dance but also embody their roles. As a coach and facilitator, JoAnn offers students an insider’s view into what the professional musical theatre world expects: versatility, precision, stage awareness and a strong creative voice.
