Chris Key is an acclaimed director of musical theatre, best known for his work as Associate Director on Les Misérables in London and across international productions, and Associate Director on School of Rock in the West End. Beginning his career as a West End performer, Chris’s passion for storytelling and performance naturally evolved into a distinguished directing career.

With a creative vision shaped by years of experience both on and off the stage, Chris is known for his ability to inspire casts, nurture ensemble energy, and bring fresh, dynamic interpretations to major productions. His leadership style emphasises collaboration, artistry, and emotional truth, creating environments where performers can thrive and productions can reach their full potential.
