Bio
Nikki Laurence is an experienced performance coach, musical director, and educator with over 25 years in the musical theatre industry. She trained as a performer at London Studio Centre, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance in 2000, and went on to enjoy a professional career across musical theatre, acting, commercial dance, and live music before moving into teaching and coaching.
Nikki has taught singing, performance, and audition preparation at many of the UK’s leading conservatoires, including ArtsEd London, Mountview, Urdang Academy, LAMDA, Italia Conti, and London Studio Centre and has held senior leadership roles such as Head of Musical Theatre and Course Leader at prestigious institutions including BodyWork Company Dance Studios, Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Italia Conti, and London Studio Centre.
Alongside her teaching, Nikki works professionally as a Musical Director on theatrical productions across the UK and internationally.

Nikki’s coaching is nurturing, evidence-based, and performance-focused. She blends vocational technique, creative expression, and psychological skills to help students manage nerves, present authentically, and deliver their best work under pressure.
